How it works
How supplying works
Get approved
Apply through the partner form. SurveySetu approves supplier accounts before they can bid and may ask for company details.
Set up redirects
Add https redirect URLs for complete, screen-out and quota-full with the [RESPONDENT_ID] placeholder, and optionally a postback URL and secret.
Bid on surveys
Browse open surveys with their audience, length, CPI and remaining quota, and bid with your quota and price. Researchers accept, counter or reject.
Route your panel
Send members through your signed tracking link with your own respondent ID. Completes, screen-outs and quota-fulls are counted automatically.
Earnings and payouts
- For each complete you earn the agreed price minus SurveySetu's platform fee
- Earnings are held for a 48-hour review window, then become available automatically
- During the window a researcher can reject a complete with a reason; rejected completes are not paid
- Withdraw to a verified business bank account; GST and TDS apply where Indian law requires
Technical details
- Every redirect carries a signed status (ss_survey, ss_status, ss_ts, ss_sig) — verify it before you reward a member
- Postbacks fire on complete, screen-out and quota-full, signed with HMAC-SHA256 in X-Postback-Signature
- Placeholders: {pid}, {status}, {txn} and {amount} (CPI in paise, completes only)
- Retries up to 8 times with backoff on 5xx, 408 and 429; reject postbacks older than five minutes
What we expect from suppliers
- Real, consenting adults who match the survey's target — no bots, click farms or reused identities
- One complete per person per survey (one per device is enforced)
- Use the tracking link unchanged except for your respondent ID
- Bid only for quotas you can deliver; hourly and daily limits apply
Common questions
Is there a fee to become a supplier?
No. There is no subscription. SurveySetu earns a platform fee on each complete, which is shown when you bid.
Who can become a panel supplier?
Businesses that run a panel or community of real adult respondents in India and have their consent to take part in surveys. SurveySetu approves each supplier account and may ask for company details.
When do I get paid?
Each complete's earning is held for a 48-hour review window and then becomes available to withdraw to your verified business bank account.
Do I need to build an integration?
Only redirect URLs are required. Postbacks are optional server-to-server callbacks; the supplier guide in the help centre shows the placeholders and how to verify signatures.
