Paid surveys in India

Paid surveys in India: how rewards on SurveySetu really work

Answer surveys in your own language on your phone. Every survey shows its reward — or says Free — before you start, so you always know what you are signing up for. Here are the honest rules.

  • See the reward before you start
  • 12 languages
  • Redeem from ₹100
  • Bank or UPI in your name

Paid surveys are paused right now, so open surveys are free community surveys for the moment. Paid surveys will show their ₹ reward on the card when they return.

How it works

How it works

  1. Pick a survey

Each card shows the reward or Free, how long it takes and the languages it is in. Choose one that honestly fits you.

  2. Answer a few profile questions

Most surveys first check that you are in their audience (for example age, gender or where you live). If you are not, you are screened out — that is normal, and no reward is paid for that survey.

  3. Answer honestly

Read each question and answer in your own words. Rushed, copied or contradictory answers can be disqualified and not rewarded.

  4. Get your reward

A complete that passes the survey's checks adds the reward to your balance. Once you reach the minimum (₹100 unless announced otherwise), redeem it to a bank account or UPI ID in your own name.

What to expect

Surveys pay small amounts for your time and opinion. They are not a job and not a steady income: how many surveys you get depends on how many researchers are looking for people like you, and that changes from week to week. We do not publish average earnings because they depend entirely on which surveys match your profile.

Payout rules

  • Minimum redemption is shown on your Rewards page (₹100 unless announced otherwise)
  • Payouts go to a bank account or UPI ID in your own name; the help centre says to allow 1–3 business days
  • Your first redemption, and any after you change payout details, needs a one-time code sent to your email
  • One redemption at a time: request the next once the previous one is sent
  • If a transfer fails (for example a wrong IFSC), the amount comes back to your balance

Tax and identity

  • No bank or UPI details are needed to sign up — only when you redeem
  • PAN, and Aadhaar verification where required, is asked for only once your yearly withdrawals cross the limits set by Indian tax law
  • Where the law requires, tax (TDS) is deducted from payouts and a statement is issued; you declare your own income

Stay safe

  • Joining SurveySetu is free — never pay anyone to get surveys
  • No survey on SurveySetu may ask for your passwords, OTPs, card numbers, Aadhaar number or bank details
  • You must be 18 or older, and one person may hold only one respondent account
  • If you came from another panel's link, that panel pays the reward it promised you

Common questions

Can I really earn money from surveys on SurveySetu?

Yes, from paid surveys — but they are paused right now, so open surveys are free for the moment. When they return, the ₹ amount on a survey card is what you receive after SurveySetu's fee. Amounts are small and there is no guaranteed income.

How much can I earn?

There is no fixed amount. Each paid survey shows its reward and expected time before you start; how many surveys you get depends on how many match your profile. We do not publish average earnings.

What is the minimum withdrawal?

The minimum is shown on your Rewards page — ₹100 unless announced otherwise. Payouts go to a bank account or UPI ID in your own name.

Do I need to pay or share bank details to join?

No. Joining is free, and no bank or UPI details are asked at sign-up. You add them only when you redeem a reward.

Do I need an account to take surveys?

You can browse and take many surveys without an account, and a reward you earn as a guest is kept on that phone until you sign up. Some surveys, and every withdrawal, need an account.

Why was I screened out of a survey?

Each survey is for a specific audience. If your profile answers don't match it, the survey ends early and pays no reward. It is normal, and new surveys matching your profile open regularly.
