- Bengali is written in the Bengali (Bangla) script. SurveySetu shows it with the phone's built-in Bengali font, so respondents don't download anything extra.
- Questions and answer options are machine-translated into Bengali, checked to really be in Bengali script, and cached, so everyone answering in Bengali sees the same wording.
- Place names in targeting and location questions are localised too, using their district and state as context.
- Setu can read each question aloud on tap with the phone's own Bengali voice. If a phone has no Bengali voice installed, the text still shows; only the read-aloud is unavailable.

Is the machine translation always perfect?
No machine translation is. Keep questions short and plain, avoid idioms and abbreviations, and open your survey link in the language yourself (or ask a native speaker) before you share it widely. If a translation service is briefly unavailable, a line can show in English until it is translated.
