Employee surveys
Employee surveys your whole team can answer, in their own language
Run engagement, pulse, onboarding and exit surveys that reach office staff and frontline workers alike. Each person answers on their own phone, in English or one of 11 Indian languages.

How it works
Running a staff survey
Choose a template
Engagement, monthly pulse, onboarding, exit, training needs and frontline staff surveys, written in short plain English that translates well.
Share it with the team
Post the link in your team's WhatsApp group or put the QR poster on the notice board. Set a closing date or a response cap.
People answer in their language
A supervisor in Pune and a warehouse worker in Patna can answer the same survey in Marathi and Hindi.
Read the results
See scores and comments as they arrive, compare by department or site if you ask for it, and export for HR.
Help people answer honestly
- SurveySetu does not show respondents' account names or emails to the survey owner
- Only ask for department, site or role if you need it
- In a very small team, demographic questions can identify someone — keep those groups broad
- Tell people why you are asking and what you will do with the results
Frontline-friendly by design
Taps instead of typing, one question per screen, read-aloud on tap and a 12-language picker make the survey usable for staff who rarely fill in forms on a phone.
Common questions
Is SurveySetu free?
Joining is free and there is no subscription. You can publish free surveys today; they have a response cap, shown on the publish screen. Paid, pay-per-complete surveys are paused for now.
Are employee answers anonymous?
SurveySetu does not show respondents' account names or emails to you, and staff can answer as guests. Your own questions decide how anonymous it is: if you ask for name, employee ID or a very narrow team, answers can be traced back.
How does the translation work?
You write the survey in English. When a respondent picks another language, the questions and options are machine-translated into it, checked to be in that language's script, and cached. If a translation service fails, that line shows in English until it is translated. You choose which of the 12 languages to offer and which one opens first.
Can I limit the survey to my staff?
Share the link only with your team and set a response cap or closing date. Location and age targeting are available too, but for staff surveys a private link is usually enough.
