Researcher quick-start: from signup to first response

Welcome! This guide takes you from an empty researcher dashboard to your first live survey collecting responses.

Step 1 — Build your survey

From your dashboard, click "Try a template" to start with a proven design (NPS, brand awareness, customer satisfaction, etc.), or "Build from scratch" to design your own.

• Drag-and-drop 12 question types (multiple choice, rating, ranking, matrix, etc.)
• Add page logic and conditional questions
• Preview how respondents see your survey in 11 Indian regional languages (auto-translated on publish)

Step 2 — Set your CPI and target

CPI (Cost Per Interview) is what you pay per qualified complete. SurveySetu adds a small platform fee on top. Target = how many completes you want.

Step 3 — Publish and watch responses flow in

Once you publish, your survey appears in the supplier marketplace. Suppliers route their respondents to you, and your dashboard updates in real time.
